Description
The LS18CaKMDd2 from Lunt is a fully integrated solar filter module using the Calcium-K wavelength, designed for installation in a 2-inch focuser of a conventional refractor telescope. It includes all necessary internal filters and does not require additional accessories.
This filter allows detailed imaging of the chromosphere, particularly supergranulation, active regions, and flares. Though difficult to see visually due to the position of the Ca-K line at the edge of human visual perception, it is ideal for UV-sensitive cameras.
Compatible with refractors up to 100 mm aperture and 1620 mm focal length, the module features a 1.25" eyepiece holder and a T2 thread for camera mounting.
