The Antlia LRGB-V Pro Series filters are designed for monochrome cameras using CCD and CMOS sensors, including KAF/KAI, Sony IMX, GSense, and other similar sensors.
The LRGB-V Pro set is engineered to closely match the RGB response of CCD sensors that are particularly red-sensitive. This allows for balanced 1:1:1 exposure times across the RGB channels, simplifying post-processing and reducing total imaging time.
These filters feature a carefully designed spectral gap between the green and red channels to:
Minimize the effects of light pollution
Maximize transmission of useful signal frequencies
Improve detail capture from faint galaxies and nebular emission
The OIII line transmission exceeds 95% in both the Blue and Green filters, ensuring excellent detail in narrowband-rich targets.
The Blue channel has been narrowed to reduce haloing around bright stars caused by overexposure.
A wide spectral gap between the Green and Red filters blocks emission lines around 589 nm, effectively suppressing light pollution from high-pressure sodium and mercury vapor lamps, resulting in a more natural color balance.
Premium Coating Technology & Precision-Polished Substrates
Highly homogeneous optical glass substrates
Dual-sided advanced optical coatings ensure parfocality and optical uniformity across all filters
Optimized Color Balance & Contrast
Carefully designed spectral bandpasses
High signal-to-noise ratio with anti-reflective coatings to reduce stray light and enhance signal fidelity
Tighter Star Profiles & Reduced Halos
High-frequency cutoffs specifically designed to reduce halos around bright stars and control star bloating, especially in the Blue channel
Designed for monochrome CCD and CMOS cameras
Excellent color imaging for deep-sky objects, including galaxies, nebulae, and star clusters
Anti-reflection (AR) coating reduces internal reflections and star halos
The Red filter ensures maximum transmission of H-alpha and SII emission
B/G overlap boosts OIII response
Balanced 1:1:1 RGB exposure design suitable for most telescope optical systems
All filters feature edge blackening to eliminate internal reflections from stray light
Substrate thickness tightly controlled across the LRGB set for parfocality
Not recommended for solar observation or visual use
