... de luxe series with precise Pyrex parabolic main mirror
The "Black Line" telescopes by Skywatcher convince with very good mechanical parts and quality optics. We quarantee for a diffraction-limited system. Observations with the 8" Newtonian: 200mm aperture already show nebulae and galaxies with structure. Even at higher magnifications in the deep-sky, the image remains relatively bright and contrasty. The moderate focal ratio of f/5 allows using a small secondary mirror with 52mm minor axis resulting in 25% diametral obstruction. Magnifications up to ca. 400x are possible for great lunar and planetary observations. |
BKP2001OTA main characteristics: -- Parabolic and diffraction-limited optical system -- Mirror substrate similar to Pyrex -- Thin spider vanes for more contrast -- Max. useful magnification ca. 400x -- Incl. 8x50 straight viewfinder -- 2" ball-beared Crayford focuser -- Connections: 2" , 1.25" and T2 -- Adjustable main- and secondary mirror -- Clampshells with piggyback camera holder Scope of delivery: -- Optical tube assembly with clampshells -- Straight-view 8x50 finder -- 2" Crayford focuser with 1.25" and T2 Adapter Picture on the left with optional angled viewfinder |
